Hidden Surf Spot E2

This standing river wave is popular with those surfers, who prefer a slightly more relaxed way of surfing. The spot is referred to as E2 by locals. The challenge here is to be able to do a drop in (front side drop in for regular stance) and manage to surf on a wave, that is not as steep and powerful. It's advisable to use a board with a lot of volume. This place is also great for taking a short break from strolling through Englischer Garten and watching the surfers for a little while, since there are not as many spectators at this place as at the famous Eisbach Wave at Haus der Kunst.
