Sankt Emmeramsmühle

Probably one of Munich's nicest beergardens! Sankt Emmeramsmühle is beautifully located at the north-east end of the Englischer Garten. It is situated amidst the meadows of the river Isar and makes you feel like being out on the country side. Have a stroll along side the river canal and enjoy a cool drink afterwards. The place is open all the year round and besides great Bavarian beer (and non alcoholic refreshments of course) the restaurant serves traditional regional food. My tip: order the "Picknickwagerl" - you can have your own private picnic service in a spot you choose in Englischer Garten.
