About

The "Städtische Galerie im Lenbachhaus" shines in new splendour since its re-opening in May 2013 (architect Foster + Partners). The museum doubled in size and exhibits magnificent works by the Blue Rider group (Der Blaue Reiter), Joseph Beuys, the Dresden Romantics, the Berlin and Düsseldorf schools, and the influential Barbizon school of painting as well.
