Dois Rios village & beach

Check out Dois Rios village, a two-hour walk from the main village of Abraão to the other side of the island. It's quite a bit of work, but well worth the sweat soaked hiking. You will find a beautiful sandy beach, with two rivers flowing into the ocean. In the small village Brazil's most notorious prison was run until the 90s - the Devil's Cauldron. Now visitors can watch how nature reclaims what always belonged to her.
