AMARI Kantine & Bar

AMARI Kantine & Bar is part of the interim project Kunstlabor2, run by Museum of Urban and Contemporary Art (MUCA). Kunstlabor2 provides studio space to artists and art projects spread over nearly 10,000 sqm and six floors in a former administrative building in Maxvorsatdt.

Amari is so to say the canteen of the art colony and operates as a café and lunch spot during the day time and as a bar at night. The interior presents itself in industrial design, with high coffered ceilings, a large window front and vintage furnishings. On the small square in front of the building there is a wooden terrace where you can watch the sun go by all day. In the evening this is the perfect place to enjoy a sundowner!

Lunch can be enjoyed in the sunshine on the large wooden outdoor terrace or inside until 14:30 pm. After that you can order home made cake and snacks like focaccia with grilled vegetables. In the evening you can enjoy excellently prepared cocktails and drinks like the in-house Aperitivo Hi Tildi. Also different kinds of events take place regularly and are announced on their Instagram account. Reservations can also be made via their IG profile. A tip is also the regular Sunday brunch, which gets announced on IG as well.
