Artothek is a municipal art space, which offers residents from the metropolitan area of Munich to hire works of art. The pieces available for rent mainly are works created by local artists. Currently the collection consists of more than 1.800 art pieces. At the same time Artothek is working as a gallery space, hosting a continously changing exhibition program.
