The beautiful country house (in former times owned by the duchess of Guastalla - Napoleon’s second sister) is situated on the crest of a hill, some 3 km from Aix en Provence, at the end of a lane of plane trees. The historic 18th century setting is an oasis of peace in the middle of a park with statues, fountains and pools. There is hardly a better escape from the daily hassles and it's perfectly located as a base for trips around the Provence.
