Washington Square

Washington Square is a tiny city park situated in the heart of North Beach district / Little Italy. It's the perfect place for taking a break from exploring the neighborhood, with many of the city's main sights close by (Canary Wharf, Coit Tower, Russian Hill and Lombad Street). It's also a favorite among locals, who are gathering here for hanging out with friends, playing with their dogs or practicing some Tai Chi. There are plenty of eateries, cafés and bars around. Visit the classic Italian Deli, Molinari Delicatessen, to get one of their delicious sandwiches and enjoy your lunch chilling on the lawn!
